====== Combine objects ======
In this simple pattern the player combines [[en:patterns:digital_object|digital objects]]. The **combination of objects** suggests some form of [[en:patterns:narrative|narrative]]. In order to **combine** objects, the player needs to have a conception about their role and affordances in the context of the game.

Object **combination** might presuppose the [[en:patterns:collecting|collection]] of objects. **Combining objects** is a form of [[en:patterns:puzzle|puzzle]] and as such might be a {{tagpage>challenge}} and , or lead to a [[en:patterns:climax|climax]].

**Combining** might also lead to the creation of a new [[en:patterns:digital_object|digital object]] or a new [[en:patterns:tool|tool]]. This new object or tool could be used to move the game forward or disclose a piece of information.
