Competition
This pattern is about competition between players or teams of players. Competition might be used as a strong pattern or weak pattern.
Competition might be implemented between single players, or between teams of players or a mix of the two.
Competition as a weak pattern allows players to decide during the game on the basis of some strategy they have devised. The possibility of cooperation might also be just implied by the use of another pattern such as the balance cooperation and competition pattern or any of the interaction between players patterns.
Ο competition μπορεί να έχει την αρχετυπική μορφή του αγώνα: Δύο ή περισσότεροι ανταγωνιστές, που μπορεί να είναι και ομάδες, προσπαθούν να φτάσουν πρώτοι στο ίδιο σημείο. Είναι μοτίβο διαδεδομένο στα παραδοσιακά παιχνίδια δρόμου. Ο αγώνας μπορεί να συνοδεύεται και από ρόλους (π.χ. κλέφτες και αστυνόμοι).
Ο competition συσχετίζεται με την επίτευξη κάποιου στόχου, τη νίκη ή το score. Σχετικά μοτίβα:
