Nikolaos Tselios is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Science and Early Childhood Education (ranked 1st in terms of m-index) at University of Patras, an Adjunct Professor at the Hellenic Open University and a researcher in the HCI group at University of Patras. He holds a Ph.D. (2002) in Usability Engineering and a Diploma (1997) from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Patras,Greece. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 1997. His main research interests are Human Computer Interaction, user interface design and evaluation of educational software, usability evaluation methodologies distance-learning systems, user/student modeling and intelligent user interfaces. He has over 85 publications in international and national journals and conferences, with at least  870 citations and 2 patents. Nikolaos Konstantinoy Tselios was born in Athens (25/6/1973). He holds a Ph.D. in Usability Engineering and a Diploma from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Patras, Greece. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece since 1997.

Research interests:
Human Computer Interaction (HCI), software engineering with special emphasis in HCI methods, user interface design methodologies , usability issues of educational systems, distance-learning systems, usability evaluation methodologies, task analysis methodologies, intelligent user interfaces, artificial intelligence and applications in the field of HCI, adaptable and adaptive user interfaces, intelligent help systems, information appliances and mobile phone usability, information foraging theory, social-economic effects by the spread of internetʼs usage and information technology in general.

He is a member of the HCI team of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of University of Patras.

Best student of Korinthiaʼs county (1988) with a degree of 19 8/12. Distinction from Hellenic Mathematicianʼs Society (1987) and Greek Physicianʼs Society (1990).
