Top journals and conferences in HCI
According to Google Scholar, in terms of impact, the top source of publication in our field is a conference : CHI, above and over any other journal or conference.
It is followed by UIST, the conference on Handheld and Ubiquitous Computing (HUC), and the Conference on Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW).
It is just in the fifth place that the International Journal of Human-Computer Studies can be found, followed by the journal Interacting with Computers.
In the 7th place there is the Symposium on Usable Privacy and Security (SUPS) , the International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction in place 8 and in 9th the International Conference on Interactive Tabletops and Surfaces (ITS) and finally Mobile HCI in place 10.
It is interesting that there are just 2 journals in the top 10 resources, and the h5 values (h5-index is the h-index for articles published in the last 5 complete years. It is the largest number h such that h articles published in 2009-2013 have at least h citations each.)
The subjects vary, including mobiles and handhelds, privacy and human-robot interaction.
