ACM GreekCHI Symposium 2024 – Call for Participation
We are excited to invite you to the ACM GreekCHI Symposium 2024, held on December 7, 2024, at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of Communication & Media Studies, Grypareio Megaro, Sophocleous 1 str. This meeting celebrates the World Usability Day 2024, focused on the theme “Designing for a Better World“, and highlights the upcoming ACM Greek SIGCHI Chapter Doctoral School 2026.
The symposium brings together researchers, professionals, and students from academia and industry to explore how Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and usability principles can foster inclusive, user-friendly designs. It offers a unique chance to connect, network, and apply HCI expertise across diverse fields.
The Symposium will be an intense single-day hybrid event featuring keynote speakers from leading HCI research and design institutions, offering insights on the design and application of usability principles to improve systems and services. Attendees can also engage in a panel discussion on this year’s World Usability Day theme “Designing for a Better World”, a track for young researchers to showcase their work, and sessions providing expert guidance on research methodologies, scientific writing, and the publication process. Enhance your research skills and engage with experts in usability at this valuable event. Registration is free but required: https://symposium2024.chigreece.gr/attend/.
