Members of the lab with fellow Greek researchers attending the conference.
Members of the Interactive Technologies Lab, Christos Sintoris and Damianos Dumi-Sigalas, participated in the ACM International Conference on Mobile Human-Computer Interaction (MobileHCI) held from September 22th to September 25th, 2025 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
The Interactive Technologies Lab participated with an Industrial Perspective paper presentation showcasing the results of a collaboration between the lab and the Institute of Biomedical Technology (INBIT). The work introduced a prototype indoor navigation mobile application designed to improve accessibility for Blind and Low-Vision visitors at a local hospital.
Beyond the presentation, the lab members also had the opportunity to engage with the international HCI community and to meet researchers from Greece and abroad, exchanging experiences from different research contexts.
