CR-PLAY Game Design Workshop
On September 29th and 30th, in the HCI Group Lab, Univesity of Patras a game design event was organized. The event was attended by 30 game developers from different studios accross Europe. The game designers during the first day of the workshop visited the Rio Fortress and the abandned Sport Center in Agia, Patras, there they took pictures that then were used to reconstruct models of buildings or objects they found interesting on site. Then using the CR-PLAY technology they created assets for innovative games that they developed during the second day. The event closed with presentation of the new games developed. It was very hard for the evaluators of the games to give the price, since all games where extremely interesting and fun to watch playing. The event was organized in the frame of the CR-PLAY Fp7 project funded by the European Union, coordinated by Testaluna (It).
