Best Historical Paper award goes to researchers of the HCI Group
MobileHCI started in 1998, in 2008 the steering committee agreed to award a prize for the Most influential Paper from MobileHCI n-10 that recognises the longevity of impact papers from the first MobileHCI have had on the research community. The prize is awarded annually and is selected by the currently acting steering committee based on citation counts.
The 2005 prize was awarded at the closing session of MobileHCI 2015 conference to Dimitrios Raptis for the paper:
It should be noted that Nikolaos Tselios is now an assistant Professor of the University of Patras, and Dimitrios Raptis an assistant Professor of the University of Aalborg. Dimtrios who was present at the conference received the award.
